The following is a list of discipleship activities currently offered by our church. Unless otherwise noted, registration is not required and everyone is welcome. If you would like your ministry or activity included on this list, please contact the pastor.
Description of Activities (alphabetical order)
Bible Correspondence - Checking and mailing of Bible correspondence courses. Personal Bible study opportunities are also available. Check with Bev Johnson for specific needs and activities.
Burmese House Church - Language specific worship service taking place on Sabbath afternoons in various homes. Check with Pastor Silas for the specific location on the Sabbath you wish to visit.
Community Services - Distribution of food and clothing to the needy on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Check with Jeanette Griffith for specific needs and activities.
Evangelism Training - Sabbath afternoon training and application in various ways to share our faith in our larger community. Check with Pastor Ulangca for specific classes and times.
Midweek Prayer Meeting - Small group meeting focused on prayer that meets Wednesday at the church.
Pastor's Class - Introduction to the 28 fundamental beliefs of Adventism with emphasis on their practical application for our lives. Class is especially geared toward visitors and people looking to be members of the church through baptism or profession of faith.
Praise Team - Musical ministry in leading worship with opportunities for both vocal and instrumental musicians. Check with Jenny Butler for available areas of ministry.
Sabbath School - Age specific discipleship classes for children and youth give them a solid Biblical foundation for their developing faith in God. Various adult classes following the Sabbath School lesson quarterly, a Bible study curriculum, are also available for young adults and older people.
Young Adult Bible Study Group - Friday evening study group exploring the Bible and writings of Ellen White.
Youth Vespers - Youth worship gathering that meets in the Media Center on Friday evenings. |
