SPIRITUAL BODY BUILDING

What is unique of the SBB series is that we are meeting in a different church members home every week.  Every participant receives a notebook and a different lesson every week from which we study from.  We also do some small group games that help us get to know each other better and to think through the lesson.  We are also challenged every week to perform a service to help someone in need.

We are now averaging about 20 people every week at our sessions, which is quite a few more people than we have had in prayer meeting in recent years.

The series will conclude on Wednesday April 24. If you have never come to the series we invite you to still come and be a part of an unforgettable prayer meeting event.

This year is the 105th year of God's leading in our community through the First Seventh-day Adventist Church of Fort Wayne. We are planning a special celebration set for October 19, 2002 to mark this event.

The celebration will include guest speakers,  honorary attendees, special music, a commemorative booklet, a video presentation, and more.

You'll enjoy learning about our heritage and the organization of the Fort Wayne First Church, the tent meetings held on the corner of Calhoun Street and Creighton Avenue, the start of the school, the prior buildings and properties of the church prior to our current structure, and many other reflections on our history.
